A Glasgow version

It is bold and far from beautiful
And it's colur far from fine
It is got from drinking old El D*
Or the Buckfast Tonic Wine
My father's had it since and youth
As did his father before
And now I'm twelve I proud to bear
The Rash My Father Bore.

(El D = Eldorado - cheap fortified wine)

Half a dozen great variations on this Orange-Men-classic in the DT.

Unfortunately, no queer Dutchmen.

This appears to be a case for Mr. John Mahlsberg and his troop of Rugby singers.

What say???? Give it a try Mr. Mahlsberg through your rugby connections?

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

I don't think that is the one he is looking for. "The Hash my Father Scored" was written by our "Micca" Patterson. 'Tis a good one though! And it is in the DT.

Fintan Vallely maybe? (I am finding the name spelled both ways. This way seems 'righter', no offence.)
