I have been looking for the words to "Hielan Lassie", which satarts with 'Now I met a lassie in auld Aberdeen, the bonniest lassie that I'd ever seen...' Could anyone help me?

Any chance this song is another variant of Hieland Laddie? There are several versions of that in the DT.

Dear rich,

Thank you for your suggestion. A lassie is female, and a laddie is male. So, what I am looking for is not a variant of "Hieland Laddie".

I am not quite sure which title is correct, Hielan Lassie or Highland Lassie. Anyway, the song is sung as "Hielan lassie, bonnie lassie, hielan lassie, be mine..."

HIELAN LASSIE is sung by Dennis Clancy on the various-artists album "All the Best from Scotland, Vol. 3." I got this from a sound sample:
