Subject: What's on (Kent)? Jy 23 - the next Lower Stoke Peninsula licensing hours folk night - some spare beds in my house Jy 29-31 Most of you will go to Sidmouth but what will the rest of us do? Aug 5-7 Broadstairs, but what if I don't like it? Aug 12 Ditto Aug 13/14 Seemingly blank... Aug 19-21 Seemingly blank... Aug 26-28 Seemingly blank... |

Fests and minifests From: Richard Bridge Date: 23 Jun 05 - 11:26 AM If one could get onto the campsite without having to buy a week's season (or if there was a campsite or caravan site real close), I might. It's the fringe stuff I like best, and in the past I have found the pubs throw you out of the singarounds/sessions at (say) 2.30 pm and 11 pm, on the nail, bong! I suppose if I left home at 9 on the Saturday morning, I might get to park somewhere within spitting distance, stay sober and drive home at midnight.... |

Subject: RE: What's on (Kent)? Fests and minifests From: GUEST,The Barden of England at work Date: 24 Jun 05 - 10:05 AM Seems strange this, as Mark Lawson tried to run the usual Red Lion Beer and Folk Festival there last year but it was cancelled due to a new landlord taking over, and bowing to pressure from one of the people over the road regarding noise. I wonder if he knows about the music coming back. Very interesting. Could be of course that it wasn't wanted and Mark was given the'Bums rush' John B |

Subject: RE: What's on (Kent)? Fests and minifests From: Richard Bridge Date: 25 Jun 05 - 04:25 AM 'twould surely be an act of madness by the landlord - look at the amount of beer he sold at teh Lawsonfest - unless of course he makes more selling burgers to cowboys... |
