I have the recording on a cassette tape that is a mix of bits of singalong songs that are "Irish". I think I may have the whole Nora Malone on this tape, from what I transcribed above, unless there is an introduction. Maybe it will be on Lawrence Levy, since the date you found was 1910. Might be able to get the sheet music there.

yikes, I meant to type Lester Levy. I know a Lawrence Levy... getting them mixed up.

Found lots of other Tilzer songs at the Levy site, but no Nora Malone.

Just found a reference to it at http://www.indianahistory.org/library/manuscripts/collection_guides/m0747.html#PRINTED

publication dated 1904 with the first line "Nora Malone, long have I known..." a copy in the Indiana Historical Society archive.

A bit of info there about Harry and Albert Tilzer....

Of Harry it says "...Following a string of hit songs, Harry opened his own publishing company in 1902.  The area in New York City where Harry opened his company eventually came to be known as "Tin Pan Alley."  Harry Von Tilzer is given credit for having inspired the phrase, though Monroe Rosenfield, a music journalist first penned it.  Harry kept an upright piano in his office which had pieces of paper stuffed between the strings; when the keys were hit, this created a sound comparable to hitting a tin pan."

At the risk of thread creep: Monroe Rosenfeld was more than a music journalist--he was a composer himself. He wrote, among others, "Take Back Your Gold" (For Gold Can Never Buy Me), and was described as "a melodic kleptomaniac"--in fact part of "Take Back" seems to have been lifted directly from a old main-line hymn called "I Would Be True". But I like the song.

This page says Teresa Brewer recorded "Nora Malone" in 1957. Remember Teresa? This link will lead you to sheet music. If I remember my Roman numerals correctly, the copyright date is 1909. You'll find recordings of the song on many Irish sing-a-long recordings.
