Subject: Tablature for folk songs From: GUEST,badgerbiker Date: 28 Jun 05 - 05:46 PM Can anyone recommend a good book/source for this (UK preferably). I have acquired a guitar, am an absolute novice who doesn't read music, but would like to 'have a go' preferably with songs I know the tune to - hence 'folk'.Also , anyone got any tips on 'hardening up' my finger ends, they're killing me!! |
Subject: RE: Tablature for folk songs From: Mooh Date: 28 Jun 05 - 07:19 PM I absolutely cherish the Oak Publications Fiddler's Fake Book and I know there's a Guitar Picker's Fake Book that has fewer tunes (something like 250 if I remember my friend's copy right) but they are in tab format. Maybe try Elderly. Peace, Mooh. |
