yes it worked - you can use the numbers 2 to 4 to make the text bigger, 4 is the biggest i believe.

for the above "A TEST" i used this code

(font size=+3)(font color=blue)A TEST(/font)

obviously, as usual, the ( and ) should be < and >

note that because both commands have font in, you only need to use (/font) once at the end.

have fun, hope you can all get to grips with this

ok, to make a text scroll, flash, and red, you would put in the following.

(marquee)(blink)(font color=red)TEXT HERE(/marquee)(/blink)(/font)

of course, replace the brackets ( and ) with < and > the same as i said before

when i remember how to make the text bigger, i will post that here too
but its something like (font size=+3)TEXT(/font)

also note, that if you have both a colour AND a bigger font size, you dont need to use (/font) twice at the end, just once will suffice

i will test this below, and if you see large writing in blue, you will know that the code is (font size=+3) and any number - i think it goes from 2 to 4

The instructions I can find for combining commands are pretty confusin'; could sumbuddy print up, say, the combination for font size 2, red, scrolling, with parenthesis instead of brackets, so we could see how it goes?

there is a simpler way! forget all this ketchup and sauce malarkey!!!!!

if you want moving letters - just type (marquee) before the text youre putting in. BUT, you must replace the brackets with the other brackets - these ones < and >
then type your text after it with no space, then finish with (/marquee) again replacing brackets with < and > (theyre to the right of the M if you cant find them, hold shift down and press them)

so in other words, to type in HELLO and make it move you would type into the message the following:

(marquee)HELLO(/marquee)

but just remember, dont use ( and ) for brackets, use < and >

when you got the hang of this, other fun you can have is the following: (remember to change the brakcets to < and >)

(blink)TEXT(/blink) - makes it flash

(font color=red)TEXT(/font) - different colours - just change red for whatever

you can combine all these, and make a flashing, moving, colourful message!

John - when you are on a PC and using a browser - usually at the top there is a menu choice for "view" - one of the options under THAT should be "view source" or just "source" - normally this opens a new window with a bunch of gobbldy-gook text that is what produces your message when displayed in HTML. So you then scroll down until you recognize the text that is what you see in the NORMAL message and the control codes are the crap around it.

By the way, joHn the MARQUEE thing is something which Microsoft invented for Intermet Exploder (not a spelin site o.k.). It doesn't do anything on Netscape or Opera (which is the internet browser I usually use). On these you just see text which stays in the one place.
Netscape had one called BLINK which only worked on a netscape browser. That one made the text flash on and off.

BTW- the answer to your question on moving text. "View Source" is an option those of us on computers have that lets us look at the codes which make things like moving text. If you are still on web-tv I don't think you have that option.

I ask libary woman [ i said "sqooze me, how i do this then"? [and point to moving letters] , but she says "sorry, dont know".

she is really old , probably about 60 or something.

she says i could do compter course, but i cant be arsed, i just want to make moving letters like they did.
i got an idea, i will look at cumputer book, i,'lll be back later.

were is computer books in this place then?
