Folllowing up on that thread led me to the production itself, the amazing life-sized'puppets' created for it, and the UTube recordings by John Tams as well as the rousing rendition by the cast itself -- all of which I recommend to Mudcatters for a really good plunge into the theatrical world. Following this thread in retrospect is really satisfying! |

Bits of it do get sung in War Horse, but (from John Tams' own website!) the song was written "around 1987", and featured in a TV dramatisation of "Cider with Rosie". Only a few years out, but great song, especialy for rounding off an evening! |
