My partner and I are planning a vacation to England (Devon, Cornwall) and Scotland (Fife, Glasgow, I don't know where-all) in May of 2006. Can anyone recommend folk clubs and/or festivals to check out?

yes, it's (maybe) a typical usa thing to do, cram a lifetime visit to the UK inside 3 weeks. Wish we had more time, but we don't so will make the best of it. Thanks for all the suggestions, I suspected there was a thread or two that would useful to mine.
