It's on the first Mr. Fox album. I don't have a lyric sheet with my copy. It was either written by Bob & Carole Pegg or Carole Pegg & Ashlye Hutchings. Bob Pegg has a website and you might want to visit that. Sorry, I don't have its address.

I have it on the double LP 'The Complete Mr Fox'. Unfortunately, it has no lyrics sheet and I don't have time to attempt a transciption at the moment. I will later, if no one else can supply. There a couple of additional stanzas to what Chris has given above.

This is how I hear the song. The only line I am uncertain about is the one in square brackets. Bob Pegg slurs the line. It could be something else entirely to what I have given - the second part could be 'and paths are strewn with rubble'.
