Irvine Folk Club hold the longest established Scottish folk festival, this year is No.38,
and the festival runs from 17th to 21st August

This year, for the first time, an open stage competition is being held on Wednesday 17th August with the winners being given a slot on the final Saturday night concert.
For the competition artists will give a 15 minute performance.
