The Republic of Korea was established on 7/17/1948

        Just below the Manchurian border
        Korea's the name of the spot
        We're due to be spending our time here
        In the land that God forgot.

[We so much think of the Police Action in Korea as an American party that we often forget we had many invited guests also enjoying the fun.]
