I have had enquiries about when this is on, so, unadulterated plug.

'Spirit in the Storm', the story of Joan Wytte the wise woman who ended up as the exhibit in the Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle, is at the Arts Centre, Sidmouth on Wednesday 3rd August at 6pm. It is a harrowing but true story of how she was accused and found gulity of of witchcraft, tried in Bodmin Assizes, put in the gaol on the treadmill, and, after her death, never buried until Graham King took over the Museum and decided she deserved better and gave her a dignifed burial. It is a one woman show with music by Mike O'Connor. See you there.

Anything with "Music by Mike O'Connor is bound to be brilliant. I'm sorry I live at the other end of the country.

The Duke of Gloucester visited the Kent County Show a couple of weeks back - and he steamed in and out by helicopter!
