Thought I'd drop you all a line and an Invite to the Special Guest and event nights we're holding over the next few weeks, they're all FREE and everyone is welcome.


3rd August 2005.
The Award winning, Big Al Whittle is the Guest.

10th August 2005.
Singer Songwriter. Les Sullivan will be the Guest.

17th August 2005.
Open Session, Singers Musicians welcome.

24th August 2005.
We are Proud to have as the Guest Julie Ellison

Pre Fylde Folk Festival Fun Night
with Music, Song and Dance. Bands, Solo Artists, Morris Dance and more
EVERYONE WELCOME starting From 8.00pm


Morris teams and Bands - if you would like to DO A BIT come along and strut your stuff (to be sure of a spot Drop us a Line
or take a chance on the night)- Singleton Cloggers, Penny Black, Tinker's Cuss have already agreed to be there plus several solo artists

We'd love to see friends old and new at this pre festival warm up (and any of the other events!) at:-

The Falcon, Hardhorn Way, Poulton-le-Fylde, Nr Blackpool. Lancashire

Just back from a great evening with Al - although we've had the pleasure of listening to Al before when he came over and did a short set at The Steamer collection for ARC, this was our first chance to enjoy a full evening, of this versatile and very entertaining "Young" man.

The range and style of songs moved his audience from tears of laughter to thought provoking silence, all backed with extremely competent guitar accompaniment, all we can say is thank you Al for a most entertaining evening and to any other event organisers reading this - book him! you won't regret it.

Cheers again Al - you're one class act and a real nice and generous guy as well.
