Of the two I own, I'll take "Traditional Tunes" over "Dookin' For Apples" (Both on Front Hall in US)

I saw him once solo in Washington DC on a double squeezebox bill with Billy McComisky as the other act. Great stuff, but it was nice to have the pipes as a change of pace, especially as neither one of them sang.

Go for Corby Crag if your a traddie, or the concertina workshop, or the great chain,I think those are the best probably.

whichever one has the track called "The White Field" on it. One of the most amazing concertina solo's ever.

heloo,i heard that he beat somebody up in whitby, he punch them , then headbutted them, this is very bad thing to do, i dont like violent people, so i wont buying his cds. [even if they 1 pound each].
they should put him in jail, and serve him right.
i only ever had 1 big fight in my life, and police put me in jail, but was his fault for making a fight, [they let me out in the end].
police are rubbish.

if someone hit someome first, i wont buy there cds, if other person hit you, then hit them, [and hit them properly ie= big punch, and keep hitting them etc].[hit keep punch them till you shure they wont hit yiou again.

A Wandering Minstrel's recommendation, 'The White Meadow', is on 'Dookin' for Apples' and I agree - it's a cracker of a tune.

That album is also interesting because if you look closely you'll notice the cover photo has been reversed for some reason. Topic's quality control must have slipped a little in 1979. Fortunately, the record doesn't have to be played backwards.
