I'm thinking of going to Burntwood this year but don't know anything about it. Has anyone any info or suggestions, especially on keeping a 10 year old and a 12 year old busy?

Never been but Baz Yates (one of the organisers) is alive to all the angles. Check the tone of the website - it should say it all. I have never been because I lived down the road near the triangle - not good memories. They have a ceilidh. And I may be in the area till 20th sooooooooooooo dancers watch-out

www.burntwoodfolkfestival.co.uk - web page

as they say:
Other attractions at this festival will include our Free Area, a place packed with things to see and do, including Workshops, Craft & charity stalls, Childrens entertainments, Dancers, Story-teller and a Beer Tent where sing a rounds will take place.

Excellent festival!! Well organised and lovely weather.
Acoustic Strawbs not to my taste, a bit too much like has-been rockers trying to use the Folk circuit to make a comeback, but a lot of others appeared to like them. no accounting for taste is there???
All in all an enjoyable, relaxing weekend!
