I've booked me & Mrs + 2 buddies in one Folk Camps long w/ends on this August Bank Hol.

Anybody been to these recently?

We have been to the last two in Whixley between Knaresbrough and York 5m from Knaresbrough 15 from York.

Very enjoyable unless your weekends must be hairy.:0)

I went to one earlier this year, just a weekend one for muso's.
Not bad, but it probably wouldn't suit everybody.

Guest is right that it probably won't suit everybody.

The Whixley weekend is "Mixed" and there is certainly no pressure to get as many tunes and dances and beer in over the weekend although all that happens and singing as well.
