Recently I wished to submit a MIDI file to the Mudcat, and I got an e-mail reply that the software for posting MIDI files is on the fritz.

Has that function ever been restored?

Not yet, Leeneia. The Mudcat MIDI files that MMario and I have already uploaded are there and are usable, although you'll note that there are double entries in the index. But MIDI FTP is down, and we can't upload MIDI files currently. I contacted Max about it just now to see if he can get it working, but he's been very busy with other things.

The Digital Tradition tunes don't work at all now. For Digital Tradition tunes, go to Yet Another Digital Tradition.

For questions like this, you can contact me by e-mail or personal message. Mudcat e-mail hasn't been working reliably, either - you can reach me at joe-offer@msn.com

This was one heck of a crash we had this summer, and many of our functions will be impaired for quite some time.

I'm sorry to hear about the crash, and I wish I could help. Unf'ly, I'm not that computer literate.

I can pass on one observation from expereience. If you want people to volunteer their help, then set up a situation where people work first, then party or have dinner together. If you could top that off with the chance to make music, so much the better.

In my experience, doing good works all alone gets old really fast.
