Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Ross Date: 24 Aug 05 - 06:30 AM Hi JB - Is Cornwall surviving you? What's your e-mail address these days - my circulars to you keep getting rejected Saturday Night at the British Legion Will there be bingo and dancing and the man with prawns in a basket I heard your young un on the radio last week - world No. 1 no less - congratulations - all she needs now is a leotard that fits |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Ross Date: 24 Aug 05 - 06:37 AM Sorry to confuse everyone It's at the DUKES - not the legion |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: GUEST, hamish Date: 24 Aug 05 - 06:46 AM Watcher, oh brown-kneed one! I PM'd you the other day, spurred on by the aforementioned interview - still available online at BBC/radio4/Today or similar until Friday night - but you are only a GUEST. (Hint: it's easy to sign in as your proper self: just go to the personal page and reset the cookie*.) All the best, pal! ~8^) (*but I can't do it on my work PC - that version of the site is blocked. Shh! Don't tell...) |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Moses Date: 24 Aug 05 - 08:03 AM El G Rumour still has it that it is a 2pm start. I'll be there and I think The Ref will be too. This may make up for us not being able to sing together on our planned "Showcase" at Herga folk club on Monday 5th September. However, I have secured the services of a certain Hairy Welsh busker who has graciously (is this a first?) agreed to accompany me on the night. Thread hijack:- Monday 5th September at 8pm at the Harrow Arts Centre - where we MAY be in our "new" new home in the coffee bar of the Travellers Theatre. Otherwise it's the portacabin again! It will be Moses and the Hairy One. Herga website www.hergafolk.org - sorry can't do blue clicky thingy. Looking forward to both meetings. |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Rasener Date: 24 Aug 05 - 08:13 AM Holy Moses can't you do that yet LOL :-) http://www.hergafolk.org |

Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Rasener Date: 24 Aug 05 - 10:59 AM I think my missus might complain. LOl :-) 1. When you are typing your reply, if you look below the submit message box you will see the Make a link(blue clicky") link. Click on it. 2. Anothet window will appear. to the right of where it says Link URL, click once and then type the website address e.g. http://www.hergafolk.org and then click on the grey box that says Create Link. Incidentally it is very important to type the http:// bit in before www.xxxxxxxxx.xxx otherwise you will not create the correct link. 3. Another window will appear. Where it says test this link, you can click on it to see if it takes you to the correct website. If it does close that website window. 4. You should come back to the window with the link in. Select all the text that looks like this http://www.hergafolk.org and then click on the Edit menu and then click on copy. You can now close that window. 5. You will now be returned to the Reply to Thread message box. Click back in to the message and then click on the Edit menu and then click on paste. You can then click on submit message. Do a test trial on this thread and see if you can do it. |

Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: My guru always said Date: 24 Aug 05 - 05:44 PM Well done that Villan, have often thought of holding a 5 minute workshop on that very same subject - so easy once you follow the steps! What-Ho Hairy One, am very concerned to hear of the lack of Leotard among the World No. 1's, but hope things will improve now that there has been more publicity on this issue. Watch out for the rain & keep those knees dry.... |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Rasener Date: 24 Aug 05 - 05:53 PM It is easy once you know how to do it, but a right old bugger when you don't. I hope Moses can follow it OK |
Subject: RE: hello from Padstow From: Moses Date: 25 Aug 05 - 04:10 AM Villan Ta for info - I'm supposed to be working so I can't try it out yet but I'll have a go next time. Lol to you and your missus :-) Guru You going to Bridgnorth? If so, see you there. |
