Does anyone have information/lyrics on this song. Geoff Kaufman recorded it on his Fair Stood the Wind record which I can't find. I think I remember the words but I don't trust myself on that score anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

There's an old gospel balled, "Land on the Shore" (or "Land on Shore"), which is sometimes sung as "Stand on the Shore":

And we'll land on the shore
And be saved forever more

That may not be the one you mean, but it's worth a try.

Can't believe my eyes! Have just returned home from Bridgnorth Folk Festival where we sang this in two-part harmony with Cloudstreet at their workshop! Have been singing it in my head on the train home, and now here it is again! Is there something in the air? I'd never heard it before Saturday.....

I thought it was "And be safe forever more?" Have to get the tape out and listen more carefully. This has been one of my favs for many years!
