Happy Birthday!

Outstanding singer, scholar, co-founder of Folk-Legacy Records,
and nice human,

Caroline Paton

was born 8/31/1932.

She and her husband were the official State Troubadours of Connecticut for 1996. Sandy (the husband) takes pains to point out, however, that this high honor should be considered together with that given to the praying mantis, Connecticut's official state insect. (Nevertheless, check out the AMG biography)

(You could do much worse than go to Folk-Legacy and buy everything.)
