Hardly Martin - I'm pretty pathetic when it comes to supporting other clubs - it's nice to know there is a lot happening though

I went to Redbourn last night for the singaround - Mr Breeze & Flegg were there and Trevor (silverfish) - there was some nice music

Thers's also the Blue Anchor, St Albans next Tuesday - 6th for their monthly singaround

We have The Unicorn annual yummy dinner on wednesday, sorry. Dunstable went very well over all by the sound of it. The main man was reported to have been "well happy", so that's the main thing.

Cheers Martin - how was the Blue Anchor?

Ampthill was a nice crowd - not many, but very friendly

It's a shame it's ending at the end of the month in it's present form

Perhaps it will re-emerge

Stevi - I'm sure you'd get support if you decide to run a session in Langford

The Blue Anchor was great, not too many there either but about 20 odd in the end, always a great night there, it's a shame the singaround at Ampthill goes up against it, other wise I would go to that. What's all this about Ampthill, is it on the move again? and if so why? By the way I saw Stevi today sitting in a car in Liverpool Rd, in Luton home of The Unicorn Magazine, he mends TV's.

It seems that the singarounds will end this month, they do not have the upstairs room you use and numbers of people have dwindled, I believe that they are trying to have a few guest nights in the future but where?????

Hopefully they will keep us all informed.

Have a good weekend

There's a bash on at the Duke of Marlborough, St Albans tomorrow run by Mr John Breeze

May start 2pm but there is a singaround at 5pm

Congratulations John Powell for getting married tomorrow - good luck

Interesting - the 21st is a folk night in Barton

Looks like it will be a quiet night

If Ampthill stops - what does everyone think about moving Barton to Tuesday nights - the folk sessions - the 2nd & 4th of the month

Maybe if there is a 5th tuesday we could organise a guest night

The blues would carry on; on wednesday nights

No - I wouldn't want to miss the Blue Anchor - I used to play in a domino league on Tuesdays and that was frustrating then

That's why I thought fixing the sessions to 2nd & 4th week; would leave the first week free every month for Blue Anchor - Blues nights could be fixed to 1st and 3rd weeks (wednesdays)- then if there is a fifth week in a month; we could have a guest something

It's a bit complicated

I didn't see Bob as he can't go to away matches any more - he has to stay in the kitchen and cook yummy food

It's a blues week - Where's me Bert?

The play I went to see in Bedford was very good

what did Martin do? - was he being traditional again? - pewter tankard singing and all

You need to get plugged in mfb and blast off the Bull's ceiling cobwebs

I am here. I played the accordion and sung some non playing songs. I thought I had put Breezy off with my threat to turn up with my accordion so I did not in the end. I will do soon however. Can't be asked with this miced up stuff at the moment, but I am getting the guitar out again, so you never know. If you do turn the folky night on to a Tuesday I will be able to turn up a bit more. BARMY ARMY. SUPER TOWN.

A blindimg great night at the Bull at Barton.

Ross I think those bluegrass guys headlined the Dunstable Folk Festival, hopefully they will come again and have a session with us all, they are playing at the Ukranium club tonight (Cromwell hill) Luton.

Paul please comes along and introduce yourself - written release documents of course red(lady in)/green(grass of home)/blue(song song) copies should do.

I think John Birch has your capo.

A simple fix would be to take a string off the guitar.

If your stuck without one that covers the guitar you can always borrow mine for the time being.
