I think this is Mike West who is a musician living in New Orleans and was mentioned in the Fats Domino thread.
Saw him perform in Ashbourne(Derbys)last year with Jack Hudson. Great night. Do hope he and his family are safe.

Last I heard he & family safe, but living out of their car as the house got washed away and was last seen overtaking a truck on the causeway!

Mike West lost his house in N.O. floods. He is in Florida with his family.
