Here's a site I just found which will be good for your students or for that nagging theory question you can't quite answer for yourself. It'll save you a trip to the bookshelf, and it saved me some frustration this afternoon. Give it a look, it's got great animations, clear explanations, an ear trainer and manuscript printing utilities. It's called Music Theory.net and as far as I can tell it's a labor of love for the guy who wrote it.

Dave:

That is an excellent site. It appears to be very helpful for beginners as well as those of us who know a little more about music theory but sometimes get stuck.

WOW!!! Two good sources.

If these had existed six years ago.... many MudCat discussions would have ended with the blue clicky LINK.

Thank you both for finding these links.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

Perhaps, a "story thread" what led someone to someone else's web-page.

I've never refreshed one of my own threads 'til today, but this is such a great site that I want to be sure folks have a chance to see it.

Cheers,

D
