I have just returned from this event, which happens twice a year.
At the beginning and the end of summer in late may (Memorial Day)
and late August (Labor Day)4-5,000 people gather in a beautiful
mountain meadow for four days of music and merriment. We camp in
the forest and are surrounded by several stages filled with music,
and we eat, drink and make music all day and night....joy!@

one of the best parts is the band scramble where impromptu
bands are formed and given a short time to come up with
some songs, jokes and radio advertisement for the on-site
pirate radio broadcast from Hog Ranch Radio. this is a
creative challenge and wonderful way to meet and interact

Our camp mascot is the dung beetle, and most of the people in
our group work backstage preparing food for the performers.
