a few years ago me & mrs had great day out at folk fest
in big pub on the river near Hotwells..

we cant remember pubname.. or if it is an annual mini festival..

she thinks it could be a late summer/early autumn event..

help please..

.. i've checked a map..

its a big pub on the Cumberland Basin..

[now just trying to remember its name, or find it on internet]

mini 1 day fest we went too was about 4 yrs ago..
possibly a Sunday..
an excellent day out..


the best bit for me was the old blokes singing in the bar..
maybe squeeze boxes as well..

much better than the guitar strumming singersonwritermiddleclassbluesvirtuoso dullards
on the stage outside..

so please.. any info appreciated..

is this an annual event.. is there a repeat in the imminent future.. or have we missed it entirely this year ???

ok.. i'm now quite certain it was the Nova Scotia Hotel..

.. but still cant find any info about any mini 1 day folk fest..

just phoned.. but young staff member has never heard of it..


maybe it was just a 'one off' then.. oh well..
