Subject: RE: How Old is a Mudcatter? From: catspaw49 Date: 23 May 02 - 05:50 PM Ya' know, when we first started this thread, it was back in the dark ages where we often gave out almost no personal info. This was one of the boilerplate threads we ran that led to a lot more open community. A lot of us didn't post at first to it and then only after a few months. Things have changed................ Anyway, I'm lucky to be about 3 and a half years older than when we first ran this turkey. Spaw .... male, age about to be 53 |

Subject: RE: How Old is a Mudcatter? From: Paul from Hull Date: 23 May 02 - 12:22 PM Interesting thread I'm probably just below the mean average (allowing for the offset of 3 1/2 years since the start of the thread) at 43 this year |
Subject: RE: How Old is a Mudcatter? From: Uncle_DaveO Date: 23 May 02 - 12:12 PM Well, I, for one, do not need to hide behind a nonce nickname like "M35" or "F53". I yam what I yam. I am male. And I am 71 and about a half. My Beautiful Child-Bride Wife doesn't like me to admit to that, because people make inferences as to her age, but then it is true that she's younger than I. (By about a month). Dave Oesterreich |

Subject: RE: How Old is a Mudcatter? From: f 20--funny thing... Date: 02 Jan 00 - 04:54 PM had to look at this--'cause i responded to it last year as i was staying at my dad's house for the night and he showed me mudcat...unfortunately i didn't have a computer between then and now and i thought it was crazy that now that i visit almost everyday, it came back again---good memories!!! but here's a funny little birthday story --- when i turned 20,every member of my family sent me a card saying happy 21st (including my mother)....that night , i was playing out a bar that i play regularly and i had told my older brother that i was playing out at this bar, so he sent a letter to the bar telling them that it was my 21st and with $$ for a few drinks. so when the owners came out with a cake and asked me what i wanted my first legal drink to be... i could not tell a lie :) i had to tell everyone that it was really my 20th b-day...and everyone in the place passed around the cards that my whole familiy had sent me with the wrong age and we laughed. (you'd think after 20 years they'd figure it out) |
