Subject: Where to donate instruments (hurricane)
From: SharonA
Date: 10 Sep 05 - 04:52 PM

I received an email with the following information and thought I'd pass it along to any interested Mudcatters. I do not know anything about this organization, but for what it's worth, here's the info:
---------------------------------------------------

Calling all musicians.

If you have instruments that you are not using,
there are many musicians in the gulfport area who have found
themselves without the tools which they depend upon to make there
living. We can help. Contact, Joyce Isabelle at the Jazz Foundation,
joyce@jazzfoundation.org

It's a little thing that can make a huge difference in a fellow musicians
life.

From:   joyce@jazzfoundation.org (Joyce Isabelle)

I am starting a list of donors and instruments they have to donate. If you could get the word out and have people email me with their contact information and what they can donate, I will be keeping a master list. We do not have storage capabilities but we will contact the donor when we have a request for that instrument and start dealing with each case by case.

Please feel free to give out my contact information.

Your help is greatly appreciated. On behalf of the musicians we serve, thank you.
