It's a well-made guitar and seemed to play well though not much use acoustically. It didn't really inspire me but I would imagine it would be a good live axe through a combo/PA.

Peace

Godin makes some nice axes. I have a five string bass (frets pulled) and used to have a four string one too. Their family of acoustics and electrics are good bang for the buck in Canada, and many (maybe 20 or more) of my students use them. Have also had the S&P and Norman guitars as beaters and am waiting on delivery of an Art & Luthiery as the same.

As for the Multiac, the ones I've played have all felt great in the hands, the ones I've heard have all had that compromise acoustic/electric sound and much better than average in that regard. Not a bad choice if plug-in convenience, light weight, less bulk, synth access, and good looks are considerations. I prefer the Multiac Jazz or the Nylon (radiused fretboard), but the others are nice too. For the money and features, take a look at the ACS series.

If it's the acoustic nature you're looking for, consider the contributions of a dedicated acoustic amp. Run of the mill electric amps don't often flatter acoustic guitars.

Peace, Mooh.

Our Bass Player (The late Bill Hunt) has the Midi/Nylon strung version which I have "on Loan" at the moment I rather like it (or he would have had it back by now :-).

Plays well through an acoustic amp (AER) or DIed into mixing deck, MIDI tracks well, it also records well.

Not sure on current price as this was was a secondhand shop buy about £200 ukp (Trashcan Formers) - which I would feel was a bargain for this one.

They also make a nice mandolin. If you want to have a look/play I'll take it along one wednesday with the AER.

Cheers Pete - Joe of Heyfeva is considering the purchase, but I'd never heard of it

What do you think about the acousticaster? I bought one from a guy at work because he was selling it cheap, but I play bass. Learning a few chords, but not sure about hanging on to it.
