tarheel and his musician friends will be performing LIVE on WPAQ radio in mt.airy,n.c.,this saturday morning from 11:00am to 12:noon,EDT...since my kids sare grown and gone and married,it will be just mr and peg...if she feels up to it!
her health condition at this time will probably keep her from being there! so,i carry on with my musician friends ,which are mzny in the area!WPAQ is an AM radio station ...740 on the radio dial and broadcast the "merry-go-round" program, of old time and blue grass music LIVE every saturday from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm,edt.
one of the few radio stations in the country that still carries LIVE programs of old time and blue grass music! the performances take place at the downtown cinema theater on main street,in mt.airy,n.c..
i will try to get it recorded on cassette tape,but making no promises!

That sounds great, Chuck. Have fun and good luck. You should send some of your stuff over to the folks at WPIL-FM in Heflin, AL. They do a live show every Saturday night. Their format is all old timey plus gospel.
