I am not a religeous person per se, but I do believe in get your ass off the floor and leave an extremely bad situaion. George W.Bush didn't get off his ass when Katrina hit America in the gut! I know the right wing spin is to BLAME the victims not the saviors, but the Anti-Christ is amoung us now and he will carry each and everyone of us to HELL if we don't confront him!

Peter, I hope this one works.

I am not a very religious person. I never attend church although I do believe strongly in God. God and Jesus are not one and the same to me. I am on the left of many political issues and on the right with others. However, that said, whatever it is that you refer to as the anti-Christ (I think you mean evil, corruption, badness) is indeed loose on Earth. I agree it will not go away all by itself. I do not know that religion alone will result in salvation. It may require political activism, revolt or revolution. Basically, is a just world worth getting killed for? Then we will all have to remember the words of the song, "Which side are you on?", and then we shall see what we see. I don't think the thing is a done deal, Peter. I do think these bastards can be overthrown. But step one is getting people to see that indeed 'something wicked this way comes'. You are going to take some flack for your beliefs, both in real life and on this thread. I want you to know early on 'which side I'm on'.

I was reading a Christian magazine in the tooth doctors waiting room last week and it holds that "certain Apostolic gifted people have been given knowledge that the anti-Christ is alive today". It also gave quotations as to where to read about the 'signs' in the Bible. I aint read it and have forgot the references given but it has sure given me food for thought. What if it is the truth? What then? I sure wanna find out more about it and I will. I reckon I'm pretty sceptical as a matter of course but this has got me hooked.

Jeez guys, I hafta admit - it's me. I'm the anti-christ. sorry about that but i just thought it was another way of being. didn't think it was such a problem. there's a lot of us anti-christs around - wouldn't hurt anyone. just sitting around being the anti-christ, watching the tv, drinking coffee, taking a walk, doing the shopping, going to church, singing in the choir, you know how it is - and oh yeah, occasionally getting constipated. that is generally referred to as hell for obvious reasons. hell is easily got rid of - prunes, figs, tablets, whatever. so it's not really such a problem being an anti-christ and hell is simply jammed up shit easily removed. so don't get so fraught.

I've illustrated the anti christ a number of times since it is a cultural icon. But first a word of warning. They are not pretty and if some may seem pretty they will haunt your soul from a direction you can not immediately pin point.

The Saviour is also within each one of us. The Christ AND the Anti-Christ find their dwelling space inside each of us at any given time. You have the option of kicking the anti-Christ out, though...because it isn't real! It just seems to be real...as long as you let it seem to be. You give it strength.

To seek the Truth and be free...go within.

(Lest I be misunderstood...there IS corruption, oppression, and all sorts of wrongful behaviour outside you in society...yes...and probably always will be...but your greatest challenge still lies within yourself, and only confronting and mastering it can set you free.)

Why not...Clinton Hammond???!!! Works for me. And he did willingly volunteer for the position, after all.

Clinton makes a far better anti-Christ than Martin Gibson. He is more charismatic and considerably more devious, because he's less obvious as a token "forum bad guy". This qualifies Clinton, in my opinion. Martin is just way too obvious a target.

I normally look askance at some of your posts, because as I've said you have some unique definitions. In this thread I want to let you know I admire your posting on the source of salvation and damnation being within us. I agree you except for the spelling of Savior. Also that it is highly likely that no two humans on this earth will agree atom by atom what comprises the 'christ' and 'anti-christ'.

I believe God has made us 'mini' creators and hence we have self-will, individual responsibility and ourselves bear some of the responsibility for creation. And the clock is ticking:

"I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil"

It is the height of danger to look for external salvation, because ultimately, we do not have the ability to determine which will be the 'christ' and 'anti' unless it comes from within.
