Well, we think we have sorted the dogsitting again, but the volunteer was drunk when volunteering so we need to check when he is sober.

However, I have got a gas-man coming to check the fire in the vado on Saturday.

Our camper van has been recalled and we will be setting off for Miskin (via Warwickshire) on Monday, should be there Thursday p.m. or Friday a.m. depending on what time they let us have the van back on Thursday, see you all soon, lots of choccie for the raffle. Off to shoot a clout competition with the bow tomorrow, so holiday starts here! Yippeee!

Thanks to Dave and Maureen the gaspeople for the testing and advice, and to Chalk Plumbing for being open on Sunday morning and having 6mm nipples - and to the luck of having a brass microphone adapter in the garage with nearly the right thread, and a tap and die set with a 1/8 bsp gas thread tap - and to a pot of gastite.

If you are nervous about fires, do NOT camp next to me!

Hello each. head still groggy from yesterdays wedding celebs but here goes.
Thanks Moira for reminder to remind! As always I am running late so havn't had much chance to gather bonnet making stuff. If anyone out there can put their hand to paper/dried flowers ribbons that sort of thing suitable for bonnet decorating and indeed suitable bonnets themselves. I will re-imburse at the weekend of course.
Is this what delegating is about, people have been telling me to try it for years?
Eyelander has already thanked on the proper thread but thanks to Andy and Carole for a truly memorable day yesterday. What an amazing gathering of friends from all over.

As a carry on to the wedding at the weekend, I have made some arrangments.
The campsite at Miskin will be available at least from Thursday morning, please P.M. me for details etc. It is Toby's 21st actually on the Thursday so lots of excuses for an early start. The bar is licenced and food arranged. We will of course still be setting up but session is on!!

Jeff has taken two tyres to Kwik-fit right now..

We will put his wheelchair in the van in case of need.

The beer might arrive tomorrow.

I'm making the shopping list tonight.

The fridge got down to -5 last night so that will do.
The heater is working.
The water is working.
The grill oven and rings are working.
The tail lights on the car are working.


Unless anything else can go wrong, in which case it probably will - see you Thursday.
