Subject: RE: Pub song/ssn N. Kent (UK) Sat 15 Oct From: Dipsodeb Date: 17 Oct 05 - 05:36 AM Oh what a night!! as the song goes. We had a fantastic time thanks to Richard for his superb hospitality he really put in alot of effort to make us feel really welcome. What a great little pub, really friendly and good beer. If this is begining to sound like an advertisment it is I recommend the night wholeheartedly. The night was not without it's moments which i'm sure will get around within the folk circles I will say no more. ;-) Sue I hope your foot is better. A special big (((thanks))) to Richard for sorting out the Giannini 12 string for me, even though he had little sleep and a hangover your a star. Please let us know the date for the next one. ~Debs~ |

Subject: RE: Pub song/ssn N. Kent (UK) Sat 15 Oct From: GUEST,Girl Friday without cookie Date: 17 Oct 05 - 06:22 PM Dear Growler. The foot is much better thanks. Fast action by Nurse Bridge with a bowl of ice water and a strong ibuprofen saved the day. Used a copious dose of arnica gel once returned to Tuckey Towers. Being a glutton for punishment I tripped on the hoover cable today and skidded the length of my through lounge on my knees! For my next trick !!!!! Thanks to all for a good session and excellent hospitality. sorry we had no wine, but thought Slatts and Dilligaff might bring our raffle prize. |
Subject: RE: Pub song/ssn N. Kent (UK) Sat 15 Oct From: Richard Bridge Date: 17 Oct 05 - 07:02 PM I think I can safely say that there was a sufficiency of alcohol in any event. If any of the principal protagonists had been any drunker, the potential for an explosion might actually have eventuated! I hasten, however, to point out that prescription medicines are not part of the service (just in case the BMA are watching). |
