We would love to be there but will be at the Voice Tour in Falmouth. Jon will sing something of his over the weekend that she recorded and I intend to sing something appropriate in her memory too. xxx
Siwsann is pronounced susaan or suzanne.

This could use 'refreshing'. Are there any more details? 2 friends of Siwsi's, who are both in their 80s, phoned last night to find out what is happening Saturday daytime. It's the only time they'd be able to attend. I know Siwsi thought the world of them, and they her.

I haven't much other info apart from what I posted.

Camping is on the rugby field and costs £1, with use of the rugby club toilets and showers, but no vehicles are allowed on the field.

Various members of Llantrisant Folk Club (of which Siws was a founder) will be here at various points throught the weekend. I know Crasdant are going to be in the concert.

The Neuadd Arms (pronounced Nay-ath with a hard 'th') seems to be the centre of things, so I would head for there.

Splott Man I have A fair bit of Siwsann on video at Myskyn over the years .Compile them on DVD for Roger and the family later.Myself and my late Mums viewing only so far. Dont think I can make the Tributte this Weekend but its Siwsis voice will ring out as re remember at home in Surrey this weekend. Home concert then and raise a glass to wonderful talent!

Actually, have you thought of contributing a copy of that DVD to the Welsh Sound and Video Archive? It sounds like something that should be kept ...

I went to last night's 'do' at the Neuadd Arms - what a fantastic night. Just what Siws would have wanted. Roger was really pleased with the whole thing, and I'm sure that today has been just as great.

Roger did serve notice on all of us that a publication of some sort (possibly multi media) will follow and he's made a plea for any materials - sound, photos, personal rememberances, et al - to be sent to him. I have an old cassette that Siws gave me, probably 20 years ago or more, with some songs she was working up for recording. He'll certainly have that, and I'll jot down some early memories for him too. Richard, I'm sure he'll be thrilled to have anything you can send him. Same goes for anyone else out there!

Sorry not to hawe made it this weekend,but there in thought. Siwsann was happy for me to video,but did ask me not to at her last Myskin as she "Was singing songs she had not done for years" Sutch a shame. I will contact Roger as any DVD material must go via him in my view.
