Help: Publisher of Kentucky Waltz

Hi guys. I'm trying to track down the publisher of Bill Monroe's Kentucky Waltz.
I've tried HFA and ASCAP with no luck.
You know the old Bluegrass song.....

We were waltzing that night in Kentucky,
Beneath the beautiful harvest moon,
And I was the boy that was lucky
But it all ended too soon....
Any assistance gratefully appreciated.

Hey, we had walyz in Wisconsin, Seamus - but we spelled 'em "walleyes." Good eatin' fish.
So I changed the spelling of your thread title, since it isn't about fish.

These are the four listings at BMI. Unfortunately, neither BMI nor ASCAP gives dates of publication. I think that would make for more useful information.

My song book says that Bill Monroe recorded the Kentucky waltz on April 9 1942,but it don't say what record company.Hope this helps Louie roy

I'm getting a little pissed off at BMI.....want to record a tune that we KNOW is under copyright...want to do the 'right' thing and pay the roalyties. I've called them 3 times....left msgs, etc....they won't call me back. Good luck Seamus.
