You can access the downloads and the playlists for those shows by clicking here. The link to stream live is also on the page. Each show falls off the archive after two months. I'm not doing the show this coming Thursday (Yom Kippur) but will be back on October 20 when my in-studio guests will be Brian Blain and Harry Manx. Matapat will be in-studio with me on October 27. Brian has a new CD that we'll be featuring and we'll have the world radio premiere of Harry's new CD coming out in November. Among the other CDs that are tentatively scheduled to have their Folk Roots/Folk Branches debuts tomorrow are new albums by Cherish the Ladies, Paris to Kyiv, Matapat, Odetta, Thea Gilmore, Jerry Douglas, Chuck Pyle, Cary Cooper and Bob Bossin. New reissues that we'll hear for the first time include CDs by Snooks Eaglin and Long John Baldry. There'll be lots of other great music on the show. You can hear the show live over the air on CKUT, 90.3 FM in the Montreal area from 9-11:30 a.m. (Eastern time). The live stream and archive of the show can be heard from the from the Folk Roots/Folk Branches listen page. The archive link will be posted sometime tomorrow afternoon. Mike Regenstreif |
