By tram is easiest get off at Shalesmoor stop (Blue Route Malin Bridge or Purple Route to Cathedral/Meadowhall then change onto Yellow Route to Hillsborough)then follow sign for Kelham Island Nuseum and AA signs should be up for Folk Festival

Only 5 days to go and counting. programmes now on sale at Cask and Cutler, Fat Cat, Fagans, Gardeners Rest, Hillsborough Hotel, Kelham Island Tavern, Red Deer. I'm on Radio Derby tonight (Mon 24th Oct) and Wednesday (26th Oct) Radio Sheffield at 2pm. Folk Train to-morrow leaving Sheffield at 7.14p.m. to Edale is Folk Festival Special.

Great Ceilidh Grommitt !!! Whapweasle were fab, Packed Hall with the great Trev Lea standing in for Martin Harvey who's van broke down and couldn't make it. Minnie Moosika were great but had to do a curtailed set. Jude reported a good sing-a-round and the sesh's at Kelham Tavern and Bath were good. On and the beers on form !!!!!

Saturday Morning - no voice at the moment - assume it will be back for the afternoon.

Kelham Island Tavern Yesterday among all the great songs and tunes one of the highlights must have been the group of young danes who sang a risque song. In Danish but they explained it to us first and then proceeded to blush through out the whole thing.

Fagans - what can you say - just great music.


Probably be at Fagans this afternoon but definately Kelham Island Tavern for the Irish Session this evening.

Brilliant set from No Fixed Abode. never heard Una in better voice. never realised what a powerful beautiful sound her voice is. So controlled, so much power and distinction.

Brill concert yesterday. Spyhop wonderfull to see and hear Eoin again. Keith Donnelly came up to me said 'Where has he (eoin) been hiding, what a talent, what a voice !!' CrossCurrent just get better and betterer. Cloudstreet what can I say with Johnny and Vicky were mega. Johnny and the Prison Didn't Help Boys were just fun fun fun. and Martin Simpson was awesome...Thanks to all who came and made the weekend so memorable.
