Wooden Steeple World Folk Music Productions proudly presents NY's exciting new all female Irish band Girsa. These talented young ladies, ages 13 to 16, have been playing traditional Irish music, dancing, and singing together for most of their young lives and hold numerous titles at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh in fiddle, accordion, piano, banjo, tin whistle, and traditional singing. Girsa also counts amongst its members three "All Ireland" winners.

In May 2005 some of the band members captured 1st place in the busking competition at the Fleadh by the Feale in Abbeyfeale Co. Limerick. This band has taken the NY area by storm at pubs, festivals, concerts, benefits, and recently at Ellis Island with 4,000 in attendance.

Be sure to mark your calendars as this will indeed be a performance you will not want to miss.

When: October 27, 2005 at 8 PM
Where: First Federated Church, 763 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ
