How about if the guys put on a show similar to the "Ladies of the Club" skit at the Getaway. Something along the lines of "The Full Monty" perhaps? If there are any volunteers I'll help choreograph.

Terry..the men could always do something in the conference room or conservatory at Barholme??!!...That way it would only be us catter there (and whoever we manage to sell tickets too *G*)

Oh Khat - that's a great idea of selling tickets! How much should we charge?   It would probably be the first Chippendale show the folks in Portaferry have seen. Probably would sell out! Guys, we'll need some teaser pics so we can advertise.

I'm tempted to fly over and protect Andy from wild animals and nekkid ladies! I've had an offer to share flight and rental car with a guy going to Rostrevor but can't make long-term decisions at the moment. Would I still be able to find accommodation if I decided to come in January?

BTW, mention of Rostrevor reminds me - Tommy Sands said the other week that if publicity was wanted he'd mention the meet on his folk programme, provided someone contacts him. I wasn't sure whether publicity would be welcome. Is it?

Susanne, Linda of the Barholm Hostel told me that I got the last single room - but she didn't tell anything about the other rooms ...

Just ask her: http://www.barholmportaferry.co.uk/

Hi Susanne,

Even if Barholm is full (just having Andy in it would make it so) there are a couple of other reasonable B&Bs.

...and from last year's experience Andy does need protecting from ladies either nekkid or not!

Hope to see you there.

Love

Richard

Richard, I disagree. THAT person was definitely NOT a lady!

About Barholm being full with just me in it: there will be about 20% less of me than last year ...

Assuming you dont want to share a room at the hostel , Adairs is just round the corner (Stayed there myself last year) with excellent breakfast and NOT expensive . Fiddlers Green is another option , a little more per night , but VERY handy for the sessions !!

I will work on those Terry, it just depends what Linda wants for single occupation of a double room, if she has one available that is.

Right Linda has a bouble room with en-suite available at £40 per night, bit more than I want to pay. What price are the other places, like Adair's and the Fiddler's?
