Subject: RE: 'Catters at Gainsborough Folk Festival? From: Rasener Date: 23 Oct 05 - 04:24 AM Unfortunately, I won't be able to make today (Sunday). However, I have to say what a lovely Friday and Saturday I had. I am not going to single any one artist out as I think they all contributed to a smashing 2 days of folkmania. Its a team effort. I would like to praise the committee of the Gainsborough Folk Festival for the unselfish hard work that they put in to make the two days that I saw work so very well. I was well impressed :-) It is so easy just to go to the festival and enjoy it, with very often little thought to the massive amount of hours put in unpaid to make it a success. The real ale on the Friday evening must have been really good, becuase the buggers drank it dry before the evening had finished :-) |
