Sorcha, forget Yahoo/Flickr, which are nothing but trouble, and use my.opera.com. It's easy and reliable; you can upload all the photos you want and organize them; and you can write notes. You're invited to look at my photos, including albums for the 2005 Getaway, a couple of Smithsonian Folk Festivals, and my violin.

Well, with a LOT of help from my friends I finally did it. Yahoo!/Flickr! are NOT user friendly IMO! See my thread, SorchaPuppies for a link to the pics.

Hi there,
I too joined Flickr this year and started loading Folkie Fotos from my past (mainly), here in Australia.
I just posted to the "Mudcat Group" too, but my photos can be accessed through my website : http://www.peculiarhand.com
I don't get a lot of time, but I will try to get more photos in this year, before the Woodford Work deluge kicks in ...

It ain't working...I even had phone help from a Catter...I tink Yahoo has probs...cause it wont' work in IE or Firefox on either computer and   I KNOW the addy/password is correct. PISS ME ORF!

PS..can't find a 'contact us' for Yahoo either!!!

I'm trying to set up a Flickr! acct....having MUCH trouble with Yahoo! I signed up for an e mail.....wrote down all the stuff and now it won't accept either my name or my password for e mail OR flickr! Been trying 2 hrs and I'm getting frustrated!!!!!!!

Great... There now is a Flickr group mudcat, and Liz... I will add you on admin., drop me a PM in my flicker box, and I will figure how to do it, you can go to groups on Flicker and type in Mudcat and get to there... and click on my photos to get to my mailbox... that is probably obvious to you... but I am still overwhelmed by it all... cheers lor

I'm a Flickr customer too as Liz the Squeak, and so is Jack (as Mudcat Jack), the travelling puppy, but he's not the sort of person you want to allow adminstrative perogatives....

I know a Mucatter set up a flickr group... I have to check my PMs again... but, I spent time trying to find it among the thousands of folk sites on Flickr. Perhaps we might might name a group on Flickr "Mudcat" and tag the photos both Mudcat and Folk, so that we can easily find them?
I'll set up such a group and we can link it to the other, and in a day or so, I will start putting up the Gathering screan grabs.
