Does anyone have any photos/film of "The Halliard" (Dave Moran, Nic Jones & Nigel Paterson). I'm looking for new material to post on the new Halliard website:
This is a repeat of posts already seen on Radio2 folk&acoustic & fROOTS forum. I was told this was where the "old geezers" hung out, so I might get a more productive response!!
Nigel Paterson (mandolin,The Halliard, old geezer too!)

For those interested,(those who have the book can read more about it.) and it is interesting how the book and CD came about; the idea of a CD was my crazy idea after Dave Moran and myself embarked on the songbook project. I suggested that seeing as we were doing the book there should be a CD to go with it. Dave and I suggested it to Julia and she thought it was a good idea but didn't know how to do it. I blithely said we could record Dave's vocal with my guitar backing plus a 'click'track in my studio and we could then send these as wave files to the UK thanks to the use of computor based recordings, so Nigel and Nic could do their stuff. So that's what we did and lo and behold it worked. Even my guitar tracks are there in the mix on some tracks. The whole project was a real buzz for me.
