Happy Birthday!

Elsa Lanchester

born 10/28/1902
(d. 12/26/1986)

After studying ballet with and appearing with Isadora Duncan, Lanchester worked in Music Hall and cut several records. I have volumes 1 & 2 of Bawdy Cockney Songs with such wild risquéery as "Linda and Her Londonderry Air." They're on Legacy International, a rip-off of Everest, in turn a rip-off of Tradition.
