After our adventures at the cultural gathering at Ribbleshead much interest has been shown in summat similar at the "Globe"

I have been in touch with Gillie and she has ok'd my date of weekend 10th of December.I understand there is some accomadation and the usual indoor camping as well.All who are intrested, will you post/ pm me or Gillie so we can get sume idea of numbers?

No harm in informing any non mudcatters .

The Globe is well worth a visit ! Just wish I could get there in December , but we are medievalling on the Friday AND the Saturday that weekend !

i'm not going becase of its to far away, [were is it anyway?

me van was shit any way, only do about 50 miles in an hour, then make bad noises.

if some one gives me a lift i might go, [if i'm not doing nowt.

and if you go round cornerts in it too fast it would nearly tip up,
[thats the trouble with tall vans], long ones are better.

before= i had a escort van, and it never tipped up, thats becase it was long, not tall,

and that work van was not heavy enough, but i bet you, if you put load of heavy things in it, [like things like ferniurerer, furniter
etc, probly it would only do anbout 30 miles an hour, and make bad noises.


or things like big tins of tomartoes, they are heavy, did you ever try to carry a few of them?
probly not.

Just asked him indoors (Tony)and he says it sounds good. Would love to meet up with you all. Not been to any folk festivals this year so havnt seen any of the usual crowd, Tig & Badger etc.

Hi all,

Yes a gather on 10th Dec.

Indoor camping within lounge, (floorspace) bring mats and bags.

Fliss - Friday folk club, yes you will be allowed to sing, play etc.

Saturday, our Jake will entertain and more than likely let you all give him a rest!!

Inbetween chiefly, yourselves :-)

If people can bring breaky food, there is a kitchen upstairs.

If required for a FEE (£3) I can put on chill, bol or curry.

Other than that is get your own, we can't do it for free.

Tyke, your welcome. Space will be saved.

Lead sorry you can't make it.

Ducks, the van has changed it's much smaller big bed than last time plus a small small double. Not sure if you will be able to all fit in. ???

I'm quite often in the Globe ( between appointments which I am now )and love doing a floor spot there.
