Subject: Tech: lost buttons From: frogprince Date: 11 Nov 05 - 08:19 PM This is the second computer, with the second windows version, that is giving me this routine regularly; no one ever mentions the problem; it can't be just me, can it? I'm constantly having all the control "buttons" (minimize, maximize, close, and any choice selection buttons in a particular program) disappear into smears of random color. Annoying anytime, and a real pain if I have to restart so I can tell if I have checked any choice buttons. Is there a reasonable way to straighten this out? |

Subject: RE: Tech: lost buttons From: frogprince Date: 12 Nov 05 - 01:15 PM Hmmm... I would have said 32 bit true color; but when I looked, I had gotten set on 16 bit high color sometime. The buttons had just crapped out again before I switched to 32 bit, and that brought them back for at least the moment. We'll see how long they last... |
