Our Russ put in a fine performance in the quirky 1991 movie called Proof, also starring Hugo Weaving. I kind of have a soft spot for him because he is a good actor. I like his acting in L.A. Confidential & also in A Beautiful Mind. I never did watch Romper Stomper because I thought he might be like Donald Sutherland, too scarily-believable as a nasty bugger.

There are a few actors whose movies I will watch just on the basis that they are in it and therefore it is a good bet for me that it will be a movie I like. RC is one of those actors, along with Harrison Ford, Genevieve Bujold, John Cleese, etc

too late, the Johnny Cash movie is out already;
and Willy Nelson aint dead enough for a biopic yet.

My wife would like to see him do a 1940's country swing band movie
just too see him in a proper hollywood singing cowboy outfit.
