Well there's one you just used 'Alias Sidewalk Bob'
Then there's 'No Pedestrians'
or 'Walk...Don't Walk'
'It's a long way from Luray'
'Sidewalks of Thaxton'

etc etc.

Giok

Well, well, well... This one should be quite interstin'...

Fir those of you who were late entering the "cover design" contest, here's yer opportunity to get in early and get yer name printed in the linear notes...

First of all, my performing name is "Sidewalk Bob" and when I have other folks playin' with me it's "Sidewalk Bob and the Pedestrians" but in this case, it's gonna be a solo album with no Pedestrians...

The songs were all recorded in Thaxton, Mississippi from August 30th to Sept. 3rd of this year... The only reason I bring this up is that Katrina hit on the 29th... I gave some thoughts to callin' it, "The Week of Katrina" but seein' as there's nothin' on the CD about Katrina" I decided not to... Plus it mighjt have seemed somewhat disrespectfull to the victims... I've also thought of just calling it "The Mississippi Sessions" and haven't ruled that out...

BTW, the CD will be a collection of blues songs done in the style of the great North Mississippi hill-country bluesmen, like Otha Turner, Fred McDowell and the late, R. L. Burnside but will also have a couple bluesified rock ("Season of the Witch" may make the cut) and country songs (Waylon Jennings "Waymores Blues)...

Now, seein' as Cluin has the recieved cover photos to mess with and is rearin' to go, I'm going to end this contest two days from now at the time that this post is postercated...

And... tahnk you ahead of time fir any thoughtfull contributions you make to this thread...

(Yes, and even you, MG, can enter. I can't wait to see what you come up with but I'm sure it will be entertaining...)

Bobert, alias Sidewalk Bob
