i haven't been able to find another version of this song. i'm trying to tab it out, so chords would help, too, but once i get the lyrics i think i can manage on my own.
thanks,
thimble!

Is that Vulcan's Hammer the 60s and 70s harmony duo from Kent, England (Phil and Kay Burkin)? If so I may be able to trace the performers and ask them the words.

i wish i knew... i haven't been able to find any information on them, although i believe there were more than two people in the group, and one of them was a woman.

I believe Kaye's name may have an e at the end.

A google brings up sites that mention them. Try

phil, kaye burkin

Maybe something will help. Was unable to locate the lyrics, but I will keep lloking.

http://www.iancutler.com/index1.htm

That is the site of Ian Cutler. It contains a shot of Phil Burkin playing spoons. The site has a Guestbook where you might leave a request.

Sorry to butt in on this thread. I could do to contact Phil about a planned re-issue of the Vulcans Hammer album. Do you have any contact details Brian? You can leave them in a private message if you prefer. ammoniteuk@yahoo.co.uk

Many thanks
LL
