Subject: RE: Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire From: Edthefolkie Date: 09 Oct 11 - 10:43 AM Dai, I second that request. It's a VERY long shaggy dog story about this bloke who travels round the world trying to get to Horsley. The last line is spoken by a Chinese bus conductor (?), something like "Is it 'Ossley or 'Ossley Woodus tha wants, duck?". I seem to remember Roger reciting it at the Troubadour centuries ago. Roger was quite ill a year or so ago, had to stop gigging and I've lost his mobile number. Anyone know how he is? (Sorry to hijack the thread). |
