Subject: Tom Paley tour west coast U.S. Oct. 2006 From: open mike Date: 08 Dec 05 - 02:49 AM Tom Paley is planning to come to the U.S. West coast in October 2006. I am hoping to help him book some performances. Please pass this along to anyone who might want to help arrange an appearance for him. He was a charter member of the New Lost City Ramblers and has studied and recorded Swedish fiddle tunes and, along with his son Ben Paley has lived in Sweden and England. I am trying to find him possible gigs in Los Angeles, Seattle/British Columbia or in between. Could you please forward this to anyone who might be interested in helping find a venue, producer, etc. thank you, Laurel Paulson-Pierce for more info see his web site http://tompaley.com/ and http://www.wirz.de/music/paleyfrm.htm and http://www.mustrad.org.uk/reviews/paley.htm several folks have mentioned him here as their favorite folk singer...he was in central U.S. this summer. Toledo Frank....how about hosting him in your area??!! any one else? |
