Why should I vote for someone I've never seen or heard, even if you promise to do the same?

I took some of the rude words out of the Christmas song, and performed it the other night ath the Jack hudson, No Fixed Abode Gig. Went down well enough.

The radio won't play it - which is understandable - but to be honest it was a much watered down version as it was

thanks once again. I've no idea how someone who starts a radio station that comes out of the telly thinks. i don't intend to investigate too closely. Crazy stuff. Still at least they're playing me. actually I'm enjoying this as I'm getting an up date on all my mudcat mates

Hows it going yorkshire yankee? i saw you were doing something at the Sheffield festival I was trying to learn some guitar at a seminar at the time - I'm not proud i'll steal bits of guitar technique from anyone!

Well, Al -- the good news is that I tried again today and the blue clickie worked this time. (I guess the website was temporarily down last night.) The bad news is that when I tried to vote for you (after registering as required) I got a message saying it has a problem with my browser (or -- to be more accurate -- my browser has a problem with cookies from that site).

As I'm one of those nerds who read the terms & conditions/small print, etc before registering, I note (for others who may try to vote) that while they (i.e. "Pulse Unsigned") won't pass along your @ddress to other companies (except for "administrative purposes"), they will be sending you e-mails/newsletters/whatever -- and there appear to be no provisions to opt-out or to unsubscribe from their mailing list. I'm not keen on this, but registered anyway -- and then didn't get to vote! (bummer!)

Anyway... the Sheffield Folk Festival was brilliant, wasn't it? I did a workshop on "American Song" and was pleasantly surprised at the number of folks who turned up (first workshop slot on a Sunday morning!). I was particularly chuffed when the steward came up to me afterwards and said he'd really enjoyed the workshop (I got the feeling he wasn't really expecting to... LOL!).
